Annica took her very first boxing lesson at the age of 66!
Coach Ali says:"From the start, I could tell her cardio didn’t match her age — in a good way. She’s much younger at heart, so I didn’t go easy on her. She kept up with the warm-up, running, cardio, stretching, better than some of the younger boxers!"
Boxing is more fun than the gym
Annica stays active almost every day with yoga, gym workouts, and running. After her first boxing session, she said:"It was more fun than the gym! I picked it up quickly, and even though I was exhausted — mentally and physically — I felt great. At my age, balance and keeping your brain active is so important. Thanks to my fitness level, I recovered fast."
Trust
She trusted Coach Ali right away to respect her limits, and appreciated how well the boxing program was structured."I could instantly feel how good it is for your health," she added.
40 something?
At the gym, people guessed she was in her 40s, young at heart and full of energy. Now, Annica’s thinking about joining a group class and adding a personal training session each week.
